Fully furnished to a high standard and with bed linen and towels also provided, the property boasts a wood-burning stove, private, covered outside space and use of the substantial grounds with outside dining area and pizza oven, several BBQs, and a large pool with sun terrace. (Please note, the pool will be closed from November until the end of February, but the pool terrace with loungers and covered seating area will still be available). With high speed internet, and 5G super fast fibre broadband due imminently, you will find the Aubisque is perfect to work from.

The village of Thuy is quiet, with only 15 residents but the nearby towns of Tournay and Trie-sur-Baise, as well as the larger town of Tarbes are easily accessible by car. For those of you who enjoy the outside life, this is the perfect location from which to walk, cycle, ski and explore the Pyrenees. Bike hire is available on site and the large ski resort of La Mongie is around 40 minutes away and there are many quieter resorts to try snow shoeing and cross-country skiing. The climate over the winter period is mild and it is often possible to sit outside in the sunshine during the day. The motorway is reachable within 20 minutes and the nearest airport is Tarbes-Lourdes just 20 minutes away and which has regular flights back to Stansted in the UK. Toulouse airport is only 1h30 away.

The property itself has 3 large bedrooms and a desk and chair can be added to any of these if required. Upstairs there is also a sofa and bookcase on the landing to relax and read, and downstairs an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with large flat screen TV, Bluetooth speaker system and DVD player. The glass doors open onto your own private outside seating area with a further dining table and chairs and sofa. The kitchen has all the amenities you would expect; a large oven and stove, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine etc.

The owners live on site with their red setter dog in one of the gites situated a little away from the Aubisque and there is one further gite which is let out occasionally during the winter months for cycling guests.
