Entering Le Clos, you have a large salon, comfortably furnished with sofas and arranged around the fireplace with its woodburner. There's a flat screen satellite TV and DVD player. French doors lead onto the terrace. The dining area has a large table, seating eight. There's a mezzanine over the dining area which can sleep one. A second set of French doors lead out to a patio with barbecue and to the garden. A gate leads to the heath beyond.

The well equipped kitchen was newly fitted last year.

There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with its own en suite with walk in shower. This bedroom overlooks the garden.

This floor also has a separate WC and there is a utility closet, with washing machine, iron and board, and vacuum cleaner.

On the first floor, there are two lovely bedrooms with sea views. The master bedroom is a double with French doors onto a terrace, with wide views of the Mediterranean. The other bedroom is a family bedroom, with a double bed and a single. There's an additional single bed stored underneath. Both these bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The bathroom has a double sink, a bath tub, a bidet and a storage cupboard. Also on this floor, there's a separate WC.

There is a spacious terrace with loungers and dining furniture. The swimming pool has a small children's pool at one side.

The driveway has parking for three cars, some of it shaded.

GRUISSAN AND SURROUNDING AREA

Le Clos is in the picturesque Gruissan with its shops and restaurants. Gruissan is a thriving fishing village and resort on the edge of La Clape nature reserve which has wonderful walks and wine cellars for tasting and buying. About half a mile from the house are the Med's sandy beaches.

Gruissan was once a fortified village and the old town is built in a concentric pattern - 'circulade; - around its tower atop the hill.

The salt pans are a short drive. There you will see mountains of sea salt glisten in the sun.
